Rating Scale for Flooring
The table below shows a relative hardness rating for some of the Select Forest
flooring materials. The relative hardness is based on the Janka Rating system,
which measures the force required to drive a .444 inch steel ball to a depth
where half the ball is imbedded in the wood.
